Is Sips Ensemble licensed and insured?

Yes, we are licensed and insured wine educators in the State of Minnesota.

Can I hire Sips Ensemble to provide a wine class and tasting at my home?

Yes! If you live in the Twin Cities metro area, Sips Ensemble can provide an event at your home, or other private space of your choice, subject to spacing and logistics.

Can I hire Sips Ensemble to provide a wine class and tasting at my place of business?

Yes! As long as it’s outside of normal business hours, Sips Ensemble can provide an event at your office, retail, or other business location within the Twin Cities metro area.

Does Sips Ensemble offer remote learning and tasting opportunities?

Yes, Sips Ensemble is happy to accommodate virtual events!

What if I don’t have a space that is large enough for an event; does Sips Ensemble have an event space we could use?

Yes, Sips Ensemble can offer alternative venues depending upon group size.

Is there a minimum group size needed for a tasting event?

There is no minimum headcount, however, there may be a minimum fee due to procurement costs.

Is there a maximum group size for a tasting event?

Group size really depends on the location and desired type of event. Smaller groups (10-20 people) ensure a personal, intimate setting for clients to learn about and explore wine, but larger groups are fun, too!

How do I confirm pricing for a particular event?

Sips Ensemble prices its events based upon a number of factors, including group size (headcount), desired scope (type, price level, and number of wines, food, etc.), and location (whether it’s in person, remote, etc.).  We will work with you based upon your vision.  Please reach out to get a quote! 

What is included in Sips Ensemble’s pricing?

Sips Ensemble brings everything needed for the class and tasting, including: wine, wine glasses, small bites (cheeses and bread), plates, and handouts.

Outside of formal wine classes, what other consulting does Sips Ensemble provide?

Sips Ensemble is happy to assist with curating wines for a personal cellar and available to consult with restaurants and wine shops regarding wine lists/inventory selection.  Basically, we’re into anything and everything wine!  

Can I buy wines from Sips Ensemble?

Sips Ensemble will provide the wines to be tasted during its classes and events. However, we do not sell wine for separate purchase at this time. We are happy to help you locate retailers for any hard-to-find bottles!
